The Wheel of the Year
The Wheel of the Year goes round and round.
The changing of seasons can always be found
During Yule we celebrate the rebirth of the sun
Yule logs, decorating trees, grand feasts, and fun
Imbolc reminds you Springs on its way
Praise your Goddess for its Saint Brigid's Day
Ostara is a sabbat that welcomes the spring
We dye eggs and pet bunnies that the new season brings
On Beltane get some flowers, grab a Maypole, dance all about
Celebrate Summer, you can even camp out
Litha celebrates the longest day of the year
Have fun in the sun, and hope the sky will be clear
Lughnassad shows when it's time to harvest your wheat
Gather your crops and be thankful for treats
Mabon is a time to be thankful for all
Celebrate whether your harvest is big or small
Samhain marks the end of the year, the Goddess goes to sleep but she'll return
Never fear
It's a time to carve pumpkins with those you hold dear
The Wheel of the year goes round and round
The changing of the seasons can always be found

The Ritual
Smoke swirling around me
Chimes ringing in the background
Negativity pushed out
Salt sprinkled in a circle
Besom clearing the way
Offerings laid upon the table
Deep breaths
Feel the ground beneath your bare feet
Connect
Hands intertwined
Athame held high
Mortar and pestle grinding
Flames flicker in front of you
Energy rising
What are you thankful for
