SUMMARY:Weekend of Chinese Healing Arts at The Thekchen Choling Temple
DESCRIPTION:Come to Syracuse for the Weekend of Chinese Healing Arts. \nSaturday is Community Acupuncture.  Donations are suggested.  Acupuncture is a specialist form that reduces stress\, increases relaxation and gives a deep sense of well being.  It’s performed by placing a thing\, sterile\, single use needle into your outer ear. \nSunday is Tai Chi and Qigong. One session is from 10 – 11:45am.  Tai chi is a series of postures that are linked together by slow\, flowing motion.  Tai chi and Qigong have been practiced for millennia in China.  It’s a weight bearing\, moving exercise that’s done while standing.  The only requirement is an interest in something new and fun to help build strength and stability.
