Welcome to Heart & Soul Fitness. I Am Beth Lynch, founder of Inner Light Teachings, Medium, spiritual life coach and author. For over twenty-eight years, I have communicated with the spirit world to help others connect to their loved ones who have passed on. Heart and Soul Fitness is a program designed to bring together the self and the spirit. As human beings, we all strive to be happy, healthy, and successful. Often, we look outside of the self for this, making it a search as opposed to a journey of self-realization, love, and fulfillment. Searching for the “right” person, career, or status can create stress, unfulfilling relationships, and dis-ease of mind and or body. The missing link to mental and emotional well-being is the disconnect to the spiritual nature, that supports the personality to reach its divine potential as a spiritual and a human being.
First you must understand what is “spirit?” The spirit is your true nature. It is intuitive, creative, compassionate, communicates, copes with all emotions, and feels connected to all things. In order for the personality, the physical expression of self, to be happy, healthy, and abundant, it has to know its source, the spirit.
I believe keeping it simple keeps you consistent and gives you the results you want. Imagine in just two weeks, you feel enthusiastic, confident, and happier than you ever have. Now, you will align with people, possibilities, and opportunities in that same energy.
Remember the Law of Attraction is working no matter what perspective you have.
Heart & Soul Fitness will help you stay devoted to your best friend, your spirit. Your highest self, who never lets you down and always has your back! You will begin with morning, midday, and evening mantras and conscious breathing, taking three to five minutes max. One of the most common reasons people tell me they do not meditate is they do not have time.
Heart & Soul Fitness exercises only take a few minutes to do. You can do them while you have your coffee, stretch, or even before you get out of bed. You will repeat them at midday and before you go to sleep. Did you know your first and last thoughts of your day are very powerful? If you allow them, these thoughts set the pace for your subconscious healing throughout your day and at night.
We all have a higher self that naturally communicates with the self. The self is the aspect of consciousness you express through human experience, expressed through your personality. Personality is how you express your qualities, gifts, and abilities in the human experience. To do this in your highest expression, you must first understand your two selves.
Your higher self is the intuitive, creative, communicative self, who is compassionate and feels connected to all living things. Your highest self or spirit can cope emotionally in all experiences. Your choices and challenges can be experienced in a mystical way beyond human potential. This aligns you vibrationally with the spirit of life, love, and empowerment. Allowing you to live a truly happy, healthy, and abundant expression as a human being. Your lower self will be expressed through your perception of your current life.
Beginning in the womb, we are downloading energy based on the environment we are experiencing. Some of these experiences do not support a sense of security vibrationally. From conception to five years, this sense of security is forming, and from six to twelve, emotional coping skills are forming. Think about that for a minute.
Then, from twelve to into our twenties, we form and express these experiences, forming an identity that is based on what we have emotionally experienced, learned, and healed. hat’s why we are here: to express ourselves creatively, compassionately, and intuitively to share emotionally with others. But you first must understand yourself, both selves, spiritually and physically.
A friendship that will not waiver from what is for your highest good. The angel on your shoulder is handing you your inner compass. It is through the language of the soul they will communicate.
Your lower self(personality) and higher self(spirit) want to be friends and get along. By learning the language of the soul, trust, and devotion to friendship, they will communicate and support one another. I love this language, and I humbly say it comes easily. It will open one to the perspective of the intuitive nature, our natural nature. As a child, hearing voices, feeling the unseen, and talking to the sky was natural for me. At times overwhelming because I did not understand it or the emotions that were felt with it.
Here I Am, in my sixties, trusting the unseen, the inner voices, and knowing and embracing the spiritual and human self. I Am passionate about helping others understand their journey through the heart, mind, body, and spirit relationship. It is the most important relationship because it is the foundation of how we will “relate” in all relationships, personally and professionally. Mentally, emotionally, and physically, this is how we express this energy.
What I would have done to know this in my teens, my twenties may have been more like a lazy river as opposed to the roller coaster from hell. I Am laughing as I write this. Don’t get me wrong; my twenties were fun. I had an amazing career as a hairstylist and held special memories and friendships from that time.
But there were a few choices that turned into challenges that could have been avoided. That is why the relationship between our self and our spirit is important to understand and nurture, even in our teens. But how do we nurture something we don’t understand? How can we feel love, peace, fulfillment, and success if we do not understand all the principles to do so?
In our teens, we search for relationships to “feel” loved. In our twenties, we want to feel accomplished, loved, and successful. Our thirties, often seen as a deadline for success, the picket fence, career, and picture-perfect life are right around the corner. Oh my, the endless search is on.
Take a deep breath because I know the flashbacks are happening! Let’s step out of “searching” and become “seekers.” We will bring our hearts and souls together as opposed to separating and being at war.
I will begin by introducing you to the language of the soul. Your higher consciousness is very familiar with this language. Still, your subconscious is holding onto the past emotional energy which fuels the “I am trying, I cant’s, and even I DON’T WANT TO’s.”
Another deep breath... I would say if you are reading this, you do want to, and the intention is now set in motion.
So, welcome to Heart and Soul Fitness. It is based on a two week cycle of daily mindful exercises you can incorporate into your daily routine. There are also exercises you can choose for a weekly routine. I recommend these be done a minimum of four times a week.
Keep in mind commitment and consistency are important. The steps will be easy to follow, simple, sacred, and written out for you to follow. Meditation, mantras, visualization, breath awareness, and mindful moments will allow you to feel the benefits immediately. It is up to you to commit to them.
These exercises should be repeated for two weeks to see the transformation and manifestation in your physical experiences. Once you go through the two weeks, you can begin again. Continue to use the weekly exercises as releases and to keep your manifesting in motion.
You will “feel” the calm and the inner confidence daily. Trust your intuition to guide you to other ways of meditation. For example, you are taking a walk and tuning into the sounds around you or listening to inspirational or calming music. One of my favorites is just being silent. Yes, you can! For this, you can sit or do any relaxing pose, but you can also clean, gaze out the window, bake, or do any hobby you enjoy.
Your breath awareness is a must. Blow out that candle on the exhale!
Another way is swimming and letting yourself float. You can get calm through yoga. Chanting Om is simple and opens your third eye and intuition. Even gardening, music, writing, and art, the tools are endless and allow the self and spirit to come together.
I will be sharing and communicating with you by using humor. Even though there is nothing funny about what drew you to this program, humor heals and, in terms of energy, will raise your frequency. You know that Law of Attraction you have heard of? Well it is working right now; bend it all you want; it’s not breaking. The Law can only align us to what we emotionally are reflecting. We are the intelligent ones; our perspective is directing it.
That’s right, you’re the boss of your thoughts and emotional responses. So turn your boss mode on! In order to break patterns and habits you must move out of the emotional frequency these patterns are in. It is like getting to the source without needing to analyze the details. This can also help with anxiety and addictive tendencies.
Approach Heart and Soul Fitness like a physical fitness program you’re excited and enthusiastic about. Get ready to be happy, healthy, wealthy, and feel amazing. You will get to know yourself through the spirit of your highest self. Feeling success in all areas of your life is the result of devotion, commitment, and consistency.
All areas of your life will benefit when you follow the principles and simple exercises of Heart and Soul Fitness. I feel it is important to keep your journey of self-realization simple and even fun to maintain your consistency. One thing that may surprise you that I have learned about the spiritual world is there is a sense of humor. Humor and laughter at oneself will raise your vibration. The magnetics, due to your higher frequency, is now aligning you with people and opportunities, personally and professionally, you love. Humor also tunes up your inner compass to recognize what to walk away from.
Your commitment will be mindful moments throughout your day. Mindfully set aside three minutes during your morning and midday for mantras and breath checks. Before going to sleep, you will devote yourself to mantras and meditations, which you may fall asleep to. Along with your daily exercises you will be given three meditation exercises to be done during your week at your convenience. Use these exercises as often as you like (three times minimum). Just like a fitness program for your body, consistency is key!
Let me share with you some tips for your meditation. You do not have to STOP thinking! Take a few deep breaths. And just in case you haven’t taken a breath yet today that you were truly conscious of, start now. BREATHE!
Inhale to four, exhale like you are carefully blowing out a candle. Do another. I know you’re slowing down. Smile. Meditation is a natural exercise for your heart, mind, body, and spirit to come together as One. Your benefits are simply amazing mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Instead of searching for love, you are love and draw experiences that reflect love, happiness, and abundance. Your mind is open to perspectives beyond limited beliefs or logic. It is now an intuitive intelligence you access, which opens you to divine intelligence or a higher collective mind, where all creative ideas are born. Some call this Christ consciousness, God, Universal consciousness, or Source. Does it really matter what we call It?
Use this time to take a slow, deep breath. I choose not to defend the belief issue. The spiritual nature is within us all. Denial of it causes many of the issues we see in our world. I was told once in meditation, “As long as there is war in the soul, there will be war on earth.” Think about that for a moment, and take a deep breath.…
You will be introduced to the language of your soul and sixth sense as well as terms, mindful moments, words, and symbols that let you FEEL the energy of direction. Yes, I love CAPITOL letters and exclamation points to bring emotion to a message!!!! Spellcheck is cursing me, I AM sure. “I AM” will always be capped to align you to the Highest vibration, fuel the intention and shift the frequency of the thought.
Welcome to the language of the soul, and as you read and move through Heart & Soul Fitness, your emotions will flow. You may tear up, laugh (out loud), and feel energized because your frequency is going up! Aligning your higher self and your personality is like getting to know a new friend.
