Holding What Matters By Lisa Rahilly

                                                   Welcome to the Bright Side

In a world that often feels heavy let’s choose light. Each week, I will share stories of kindness, courage, and quiet triumphs-reminders that compassion still moves mountains and small deeds ripple outward. This is your weekly dose of hope. A place where goodness is noticed, celebrated, and carried forward.

Mortality Has Something to Teach Us

"Because even in the hardest moments. something sacred rises to meet us."

There are unexpected moments in our life that have a way of rearranging our priorities and disrupt everything we thought was steady. With one phone call, one diagnosis, one prognosis, it can feel as if our entire world has shattered. Or has it?

Somewhere between your world being turned upside down, learning how to endure and maneuver your new reality, and facing the fear of the unknown. something quite extraordinary begins to happen. All those things we thought were so urgent no longer seem to be. The beauty that surrounds us suddenly comes into view. Those moments that we thought we did not have time for become cherished. We begin to see things with a deeper sense of clarity, bringing understanding and answers you have been searching for your whole life. Those blinders you did not know you were wearing suddenly fade away.

Your heart opens, and it is in this space that you learn what truly matters. What is worth keeping and what you need to let go. This space is blessed and should be nurtured everyday all day, not just when life forces us to face our own mortality.

So, I challenge you today to begin to see and live life through the lens of mortality. To live every day as if it were your last. To experience life fully, whatever that may mean to you. To see without blinders and to feel wholly. For every loss, there is a blessing. Do not doubt that. The universe always maintains balance.

                                                    Inspirational quote of the day.

“The moments we fear most often becomes the ones

that teach us how to live.”

“Let’s keep brightening the world together, one small

                                                            kindness at a time.”
